Kat shares her experiences of surviving The Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster, emigrating to the US, and childhood bullying. Bullying is a pervasive problem for many kids and leaves an imprint in all areas of a child’s life. However, we rarely hear about the traumatic emotional and psychological effects of those that endure this treatment. Kat has shown great bravery in sharing her trauma narrative in the hope that her words and expereince will help other survivors.
